Tim Bourcet
Vice President, Corporate Development & Community Engagement
Tim Bourcet joined the Greater Phoenix Economic Council in 2014 and serves as the organization’s Vice President of Corporate Development & Community Engagement. He directs GPEC’s policies and objectives involving local, state and federal government affairs.
Prior to joining GPEC, Tim attended Arizona Summit Law School, where he was an instructor with the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project and interned at the Maricopa County Public Defender’s office.
Before law school, Tim was a Logistics Readiness Officer in the United States Air Force, serving from 2006-2010 with one tour in Baghdad, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Tim commissioned through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp at Arizona State University. He also holds a M.A. in Criminal Justice from American Military University.
Tim currently serves on Sen. Kyrsten Sinema’s Veterans Advisory Council, the City of Phoenix’s Military Veterans Commission, the Government Affairs Committee for the Arizona Association of Economic Development (AAED), the Asian Chamber of Commerce board of directors and volunteers his time with the Year Up program.
