As Greater Phoenix Economic Council’s Controller, Jeannie works with the leadership team to successfully execute financial responsibilities for the organization. She is accountable for the accounting operations of the organization, including the production of monthly financial reports, maintenance of the system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the organization’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
Jeannie, a Certified Nonprofit Accountant (CNAP), received her BA in Education from St. Joseph’s College in New York and received her master’s in financial management and accounting from Keller Management School in Phoenix. She has over two decades of experience directing financial accounting and business management in a variety of industries. Most recently, Jeannie worked for Special Olympics Alaska and the Sojourner Center in Phoenix.
Jeannie grew up on Long Island and has been living in Phoenix for over 20 years. She has a passion for non-profits and is an avid Phoenix Mercury fan. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her daughter, who recently graduated from high school. She also loves to spend long weekends to the beach in Rocky Point, Mexico.
