As Project Coordinator, Alexis supports biotech projects centered around the evolution of a strong ecosystem of medical device manufacturing in Greater Phoenix with a focus on the GPEC-led Medical Device Manufacturing Multiplier Strategy Development Consortium, funded by the Tech Hubs Strategy grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration. She works directly with the project team, partners and stakeholders to facilitate efficient and effective coordination and compiles and maintains documentation of activities, milestones and other relevant information.
Alexis began working for GPEC as a Community Engagement and Events Intern in spring 2023, where she was responsible for supporting investor meetings, events and communication/information tracking, monitoring investor and community engagement, and supporting the overall execution of programming.
Originally from Seattle, Alexis has lived in Greater Phoenix for five years. She graduated from Grand Canyon University in April 2023 with a Bachelor Science in Communications with a Minor in Marketing from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with friends.
