San Francisco-based Boomtown expands to Scottsdale

April 2, 2015

Boomtown is the latest tech company out of California to announce their plans to expand operations to Scottsdale. The company, which fixes everyday merchant technology problems in real time, provides on-demand installation and support of in-store technology in order to reduce business costs, increase revenue and prevent loss of sales.“Greater Phoenix has a larger base of qualified software workers than any other market in the mountain region, and is poised to grow by 14 percent over the next five years,” said Chris Camacho, president and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. “The availability of talent coupled with a competitive operating environment, continues to draw companies like Boomtown! to the region. OutboundEngine expands to Scottsdale for regional sales...

OutBound Engine, based in Austin, announced that it will expand its operations to Old Town Scottsdale. The company, which specializes in content, email and social media marketing, will use the new location as a regional sales and business development center, and plans to hire 60 employees over the next year.Read the press release here.

Greater Phoenix made the top position in both the Mountain and Pacific regions according to Site Selection magazine's list of top metros.The region's 78 deals in 2014 were more than Salt Lake City and Denver combined in the Mountain Region and more than San Francisco, Seattle and Portland combined in the Pacific Region.Read more.

Northern Trust expands in Arizona with new office in...

Northern Trust, a renowned national financial services company, announced plans to expand its facilities to Tempe. IRIS USA selects Surprise for western US regional headquarters

IRIS USA, Inc., a consumer products company that sells to retailers across America and a subsidiary of IRIS Ohyama, Inc., announced it will build its Western United States Regional Headquarters in Surprise, Ariz.In making the announcement during her State of the City address, Surprise Mayor Sharon Wolcott said, “This project is aligned with the city’s goal of attracting foreign direct investment from quality companies that want to be a part of the vision and vitality of Surprise.
