Mark Gaspers
Director, Central Region Government Operations / The Boeing Company
Mark Gaspers is Director of Government Operations in The Boeing Company’s central region, leading government relations and engagement activities in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Iowa and Michigan. Prior to his current position, Gaspers served as Senior Manager of Government Operations and as a Trade Control Specialist in support of Boeing’s civil space programs.
Before joining Boeing, Gaspers worked as a policy analyst for defense, homeland security, veterans and NASA issues for the Senate Republican Policy Committee under the chairmanship of Senator Jon Kyl (R-AZ). He also served as a senior legislative assistant for Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-FL).
Gaspers earned a master’s degree in national security studies from Georgetown University, a bachelor’s degree in political science from Loyola Marymount University, and completed the Air Command and Staff College. He currently serves as the immediate-past chair of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Arizona Manufacturers Council. Gaspers serves as chair of Workforce Arizona Council, the state’s workforce board, as well as vice chair of the National Association of State Workforce Board Chairs. He also serves on the Arizona Aerospace Foundation Board of Trustees. Gaspers lives in Tucson, Ariz. with his wife, Dr. Mary Glas Gaspers, and their three children.
