Tell us a little about yourself:

I’m a third-generation Phoenix native and I love Arizona and its beautiful, varied landscape. I have seen Greater Phoenix change a lot in my lifetime! I think the 51 is one of the best highways in the world, and I fondly remember being incredibly amused by the Squaw Peak Parkway Pots (Google it!) as a child. I currently live in an amazing pocket of the Valley with my partner and our dog named Piggy, and we love exploring and continuously discovering all the state has to offer.

What city or town do you live in?

Scottsdale

Where do you currently work and what is your job title?

I currently work at Greater Phoenix Economic Council as Director of Communications.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Greater Phoenix on the weekends?

I love to hit up a farmers market, move my body by taking a little hike (Tom’s Thumb is my favorite trail) or a pilates class, and go out to dinner at one of the area’s many great restaurants.

What’s your favorite local restaurant?

So many, but I’ll narrow it down to a large handful: China Chili holds a very special place in my heart, FnB always pleases, I love Hai Noon, Andreoli’s, Sushi Sen, The Parlor, and I’d be remiss to leave out Tacos Crujientes since I’m there almost weekly.

What’s something that has surprised you about Arizona?

You can do a little of everything here! I take it for granted because I have known Arizona for so long, but I love the mix of culture, food, recreational activities and easy road trips, among many other things, that the state offers. My partner and I recently started skiing and it blows my mind that we can drive just two hours to Snow Bowl and be on the slopes, in the desert!

Please include anything else you would like to add:

The growth of Greater Phoenix is astounding and I’m excited to have the privilege of seeing it from the perspective of my role at GPEC.
