Westin Kierland for hotel. Sedona for outdoor.
What’s your favorite restaurant and why?
There are really so many. The food scenes have changed and diversified so much since I moved to Arizona 18 years ago. If I want a quick bite, I will usually go for Señor Taco for their Fish Taco combo (with an extra fish taco), or Asian Cafe Express for a Cantonese Chicken & Salted Fish Fried Rice, or In-N-Out Burger for a Cheeseburger combo with a strawberry shake.
How do you stay “cool” in the Arizona summers?
Work, because my office is always freezing.
What do you like about our winters and why?
Calling my friends on the east coast and ask them what they are doing, while I am having a barbecue in my backyard, and telling them that it’s really cold outside at 60.
What do you love most about living in Greater Phoenix?
A vibrant metropolitan area that still offers open space, affordable housing, and top-quality standard of living.
Please include anything else you’d like to share about what makes Greater Phoenix so great.
A sense of adventure, and reminiscence of the western frontier centuries ago. Most people came from other states but they made the best out of Phoenix and Arizona. Some will leave but many will stay. For those of us who stay, we have a chance to shape the future of this beautiful State by taking an active role in our respective communities.
