Where are you originally from and why’d you decide to move to Arizona?
I grew up near Omaha, Nebraska with my mom but I regularly visited my dad who lived in Arizona. The great weather and endless possibilities the valley presented were too good to pass up, so I moved here in 1996 and never looked back. Best decision of my life.

What college/university did you graduate from and what’s your degree?
I received my MBA from W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU. Go Devils!

Where do you currently work and what is your title?
I am the president of Commit Agency in Chandler, Arizona

As a family, we are regularly out for dinner in Downtown Chandler, enjoying sporting events, playing golf or spending time on charity events and related activities.

What’s your go-to staycation spot and why?
The Phoenician is the best resort in the country and it is in our backyard! After its amazing transformation and new spa, they have definitely set the bar high.

What’s your favorite restaurant and why?
Bourbon and Bones is giving Steak 44 a run for their money. Both are great and we enjoy both when possible.

How do you stay “cool” in the Arizona summers?
We escape to our cabin in the White Mountain Summer Homes as often as possible to enjoy the weather, golf, good friends and fun had at White Mountain Country Club.

What do you like about our winters and why?
Ahhh winter, a major reason we live here. Growing up in Nebraska, I have shoveled my share of snow and survived 50 degree below temperatures. I remember those days when sitting outside in January enjoying the sun and 72-degree weather.

What do you love most about living in Greater Phoenix?
The weather, location, community and economy make Phoenix the best place to live in the United States!

Please include anything else you’d like to share about what makes Greater Phoenix so great.
Phoenix is becoming more of a culinary and cultural destination than ever before. The unique experiences offered are now competitive with major markets like LA and NYC. Ballet Arizona, for instance, is one of our best kept secrets having been rated top three in the United States by the New York Times for its Nutcracker production.
