Managing Director and Head of Diverse Strategies, Chase Business Banking

Mikal Quarles is a Managing Director and the Head of Diverse Strategies for Chase Business Banking. In this role, he oversees the business strategy for Chase Business Banking’s Racial Equity Commitment including lending initiatives, product development, hiring, and the Chase mentorship program which provides small business owners with access to information, capital and opportunity to scale. His team works alongside owners to build sustainable businesses and create lasting economic growth. 

An 18-year banking industry veteran, Mikal’s expertise encompasses government and not-for-profit banking, municipal bond financing, treasury sales, lending, retail banking and strategic management. He is based in Chicago. 

An active community leader, Mikal currently serves on the board of directors for the LA Business Council, LA Sports and Entertainment Business Connect advisory committee, and the Chicago Market Leadership team. 

Mikal is married to Michelle Quarles, and they have two children, Elijah and Taylor. Mikal is a member of Victory Cathedral and is an avid golfer.
