We hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy during this challenging time. With the approval of the next CARES Act funding round expected *THIS WEEK, it is imperative we support as many local small businesses as possible in applying for these federal dollars. Securing funding through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program (EIDL) could mean life or death for thousands of Greater Phoenix businesses.
*04/24/20 Update: Additional funding has been made available for small business support. The Small Business Administration (SBA) will resume accepting Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan applications from approved lenders on behalf of eligible borrowers on Monday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. EDT.
It is estimated that only 1 out of 6 eligible Arizona small businesses were approved for the first round of PPP funding. Our goal is to have every organization, business and elected official throughout the region activated to encourage eligible businesses to take action and apply. We’ve gathered resources to support businesses with the application process and lessons learned from the first wave of funding. Please share this information with your distribution lists, go live on social media, give encouragement to those struggling with the process, and share this page with a friend.
